SelectorLock, the scraper that repairs its own selectors

selectorlock.com Observed source
Editorial interest 74/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

An API for scraping pages with CSS selectors that can be repaired and persisted when a site's DOM changes.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-07 issue.

Field notes

SelectorLock stores a scraper as a field map of CSS selectors and exposes extraction through /v1/extract. When those selectors no longer match, the documented repair loop returns healed data and writes replacement selectors back to the scraper. The example response reports a healed flag, updated selectors, and a scraper ID; inline selectors remain available for one-off calls but cannot persist repairs. The service expects an HTTP-proxy-over-HTTP(S) endpoint from the caller.
