The game uses short best-of-three rounds in which players manage stamina, health, projectile timing, and platform position. Its rules include a 45% stated chance for opposing hot dogs to break on collision and a hydrant that can restore up to 35 HP after a 1.6-second hold. The tuning panel supports keyboard remapping, Xbox or standard controllers, stick-axis detection, dead-zone adjustment, and saved settings in the browser.
