Innerplay: The Uprising
An immersive concert-production in Sint-Truiden that combines spatial audio, live electronics, mapping projections and a locally rooted story.
Field notes
Innerplay’s format removes the conventional stage boundary: performers work on the parterre while spatial audio travels above, behind and around the audience. The production uses mapping and light to treat the Academiezaal’s ceiling and walls as part of the set, with a stated capacity of 150 to 200 people and an approximately 90-minute runtime. Its narrative draws on a Trudo chronicle about a spring beneath a tower, and the page also lists a separate adapted performance for people with disabilities.
