InScene Turns Netflix Watching Into a Shared Room
A Chrome beta adds time-synced danmaku and episode chat rooms to Netflix playback.

InScene reads a Netflix page's content identifier and playback state, then uses the episode or film as the key for a shared room. Its one-minute threshold excludes pauses, background playback, and buffering before opening conversation, while messages remain attached to their original playback seconds. The page also distinguishes cumulative messages from currently visible ones and says rooms fold after 48 hours without new activity. The current 0.8.1 extension is distributed as an unpacked ZIP rather than through the Chrome Web Store.
