nodekind derives editor behaviour from an XML schema, while vocabulary-specific labels come from a separate dictionary; when a label is missing, the schema name remains visible rather than being invented. The page describes a browser demo covering DITA, DocBook, JATS, FHIR, and a Dutch regulatory format. It also shows a separate identity namespace for XML nodes, intended to make a moved paragraph register as one change instead of a deletion plus an insertion.
