Field notes

Tickfossil accepts paired CSV streams with integer-millisecond timestamps, bid and ask values, and a shared asset and currency context. Its clock model selects the latest quote available after each venue’s observation delay, then marks quotes unusable when they exceed the configured age. The page limits each venue file to 5,000 rows and 500 KB, and explicitly excludes order-book depth, fills, slippage, transfers, and execution permissions from the simulation.
