Chapbook organizes its visual language around a test for whether text identifies a thing or says something: the former becomes uppercase, tracked monospace, while the latter uses a separate language face. Its separation model is deliberately spare, with 1px hairlines for peers, 2px ink rules for document boundaries, no border radius, and no box shadows. The page also exposes Neutral, Green, and Clay skins without changing the underlying structure.
