(E)Gasboard Measures What a Sealed Bottle Is Really Holding
An open calculation tool for converting gas-chromatography measurements and headspace percentages into total gas amounts in closed incubations and microcosms.
Field notes
The tool models a sealed bottle as two connected phases: headspace and liquid. Its batch workflow accepts one row per bottle and time point, recognizes predefined gas-column headers, ignores blank gas cells, and can return Excel results with plots. A separate dosing calculator estimates gas required to reach a target dissolved concentration after equilibration, using entered pressure, temperature, bottle volume, liquid volume, salinity, and optional pH. The page identifies the software as version v0.1 and links to source code and two cited papers.
