Its housing section uses aggregated transaction and rental figures, including median price, price-per-unit-area, rent type, and sample-count comparisons; its calculators then add user inputs such as management fees, commuting costs, down payment, interest, and other debt. The site also exposes formulas, data periods, cleaning methods, and source information as part of its stated methodology.
