NyxHop, a frequency-hopping radio link for drones and robots
NyxHop turns paired software-defined-radio boards into an open-source OFDM data link for video, telemetry, files, or custom protocols.
Field notes
NyxHop separates the radio transport from the applications: its link carries blocks of bytes and reports delivery, while video, telemetry, UDP, and custom protocols run above it. The page says FPGA-side adaptive delivery handles channel changes, retransmissions, and a low-rate video base layer, with a separate control channel for feedback. A 28 ms camera-to-screen figure is reported as a bench measurement, and PlutoSDR support is listed as in progress.
