purevault.app Observed source

Editorial interest 84/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

A local desktop app for opening message, note, contact, calendar, media, bookmark, and file exports without uploading them.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-10 issue.

Field notes

Pure Vault uses native file pickers to authorize a selected file, folder, or ZIP, then keeps each import in a separate in-memory workspace. Its documented adapters cover Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Android SMS/MMS, WhatsApp, and several note, contact, calendar, media, bookmark, and file formats. The site reports a 13 MB macOS ARM64 build and several local safety checks, while explicitly withholding a public-release claim and marking Apple Messages support experimental.
