Accentric — Learn Any Accent From Your Own Voice
An iPhone accent-training app that calibrates against seven words in your voice, then measures how your pronunciation moves toward a target accent.
Field notes
Accentric builds a personal vowel reference from seven calibration words, then plots each attempt against that reference rather than against another speaker’s recording. Its readout separates progress toward a requested pronunciation move from sideways drift, giving the learner a more actionable result than a single percentage. The visible course list includes four Received Pronunciation units and five General American units; London, Southern US, and Dublin material is marked in progress. The site says analysis happens on-device, recordings are discarded, and the app makes no network calls.
