A macOS reading tool that turns highlighted passages in PDFs into editable Anki cloze cards.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-11 issue.

Field notes

The stated workflow keeps a local-library PDF visible while a reader highlights a fact, sentence, or image, then edits the resulting cloze before syncing it to a chosen Anki deck. Users can select verbatim or interpretative cards, and a percentage bar is intended to track the managed AI allowance under the $5 monthly plan. The page identifies the product as a macOS invitation beta and requires AnkiConnect for synchronization.
