Dessertherapy: A Bilingual Seoul Dessert Diary
Claire Myung documents Seoul cafes and desserts through personal writing, photography, neighborhood mapping, and rankings in English and Korean.
Field notes
The project combines bilingual diary entries with a neighborhood atlas, a photo gallery, and personal rankings, giving each cafe visit several ways to be explored. The homepage currently records 10 entries across 20 cafes with 152 photographs, while three additional visits sit in an “in the oven” section because their images are available before the writing. The published material ranges from bingsu and Korean rice cakes to tea-house visits, with locations distributed across Seoul neighborhoods such as Sinsa, Bukchon, and Seongsu.
