flysu: Small Brain, Big Rhythm
An osu-inspired rhythm game wired to a simplified model of a measured fruit-fly optic circuit.
Field notes
The experiment separates the measured biological circuit from the engineered game adapter: visual targets become artificial brightness inputs, while a custom readout converts network activity into cursor movement. The page reports 65,799 traced neurons and 1,967,771 connections from the MaleCNS v1.0 optic-circuit extraction, with a browser worker running the model at session start. Human hits are collected as training examples, but the separate aim decoder must pass held-out validation before promotion.
