Order Vault Holds the Risky Order at the Gate

Order Vault inserts a confirmation step between Shopify’s risk flag and fulfillment. A held order keeps payment authorized rather than captured, while the customer receives a link showing the order name and masked address. The system records confirmation time, IP address, and browser, then supports approval for capture and shipment or cancellation by voiding the authorization. The page also describes an automatic decision before authorization expiry.
