A working guitar teacher tests guitars, amps, and pedals on a repair bench, in lessons, and sometimes at gigs.

Field notes

The review process combines a repair-bench inspection with clean and driven playing through a real amplifier, followed by lesson or gig use when relevant. The homepage currently shows six scored products, including the Kemper Profiler Player at 7.8 and the Harley Benton ST-Modern Plus HSS SFG at 8.8. Its accompanying guides address practical decisions such as bedroom amplifier wattage, pickup behavior, pedal signal-chain order, and when a setup job should go to a repair technician.
