A Wear OS and Android app lets you save the last minute or more of a conversation, then search the saved audio on your phone.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-11 issue.

Field notes

The watch keeps a configurable rolling window, with examples ranging from one to 60 minutes, and the user saves the preceding interval rather than starting a conventional recording. Saved clips wait for the phone if it is out of range, while searchable text is generated by an on-device recognizer on Android 13 or newer. The page gives unusually specific implementation notes, including a roughly 0.26 MiB buffer and 16 kHz mono AAC-LC audio at 24 kbps.
