Olaroo, a festival control room with an attendee app attached
Olaroo combines a festival-operations portal with an attendee app for maps, schedules, crew coordination, announcements, issue reports, and live event changes.
Field notes
Olaroo presents a two-sided workflow: organisers construct a festival on satellite imagery, publish schedules and amenities, and handle crowd-reported issues from an operations console; attendees receive the same event in a phone app. The page describes scoped permissions for vendors and collaborators, offline caches for weak-signal environments, and a registry containing more than 17,000 artists. Its privacy model is also explicit: location sharing is consent-based, and the product claims to use first-party rather than third-party analytics.
