The map separates active locations from sites where a community has dissolved, with dissolution dates noted for the latter. Filters are organized around practical travel questions, including regular prayer, liturgy of the hours, hospitality, family welcome, and heritage visits. Individual records combine historical and architectural material with offices, accommodation, and contact details, while the observatory tracks closures, transmissions, and foundations. The project states that its historical and heritage data draws on Wikidata, OpenStreetMap, Wikipedia, and IGN Géoplateforme.
