Authors can declare a licence in SKILL.md frontmatter or with a one-line README or file-body header, then include the matching text under LICENSES/. The framework offers three reviewed variants rather than a permissions matrix: Open grants execution, training, redistribution, and commercial use; NoTrain reserves training; Reserved limits execution and redistribution. The page identifies the skillrights CLI and QuoxSkills distribution pipeline as tested consumers, while marketplaces and crawlers remain prospective users.
