Tea ID puts tea provenance on a ledger
A private-preview platform for tracking tea from estate plucking to consumer scan, with cryptographic provenance and Scope 3 carbon accounting.
Field notes
The proposed system follows tea through named supply-chain events such as plucking, packing, customs, and delivery, recording each as a signed, hash-chained entry. Its emissions layer uses DEFRA and IMO factor sets to calculate tonnage-weighted Scope 3 intensity and produce audit packs aligned with the GHG Protocol. The public page offers a sample-data demo without sign-up, while the full platform remains in private preview for an initial importer-and-grower cohort.
