TerrainTale separates scene construction from play mode: users paint floors, walls, doors, lights, and props, then switch to a cleaner table view for movement and turn order. Homepage-made maps become exportable scene recipes using the app’s asset IDs, and the listed library includes 337 CC0 models across seven room kits. The movement system supports waypoints, height differences, and selectable diagonal rules rather than imposing a single interpretation.
