TimeWitness Gives Your Timestamp an Error Bar
A timestamp-verification tool that records what a clock read, how far it might be from UTC, and signed evidence from outside time sources.
Field notes
The receipt format keeps three distinct facts together: a nanosecond-resolution local reading, an explicit bound on its possible UTC error, and signed outside evidence supporting that bound. The sample reports sixteen polling rounds and a nine-of-nine settled result across NTP, NTS, and Roughtime sources, then identifies the artifact with a SHA-256 value and COSE-over-CBOR data. A GitHub Actions example is visible, but its referenced repository is private, limiting what an outside maintainer can run today.
