Field notes

The alpha keeps the original project folder in place while using a separate checkout for optional Codex proposals, giving the user a review point before changes are saved. Recovery copies are encrypted and can be sent to iCloud Drive, a Google Drive desktop folder, or another drive. The current release targets Apple silicon Macs on macOS 13 or later, requires Git 2.30+, and explicitly does not cover production hosting, hosted database backups, or provider billing controls.
