Verifier Standard Labs: Evidence That Travels With the Claim
An open verification standard and Python reference implementation that attaches artifacts, checking mechanisms, results, and limits to computational claims.
Field notes
The reference implementation is installed from PyPI and exercised through the vstd command-line runtime, including a flagship adversarial demo and JSON reproducibility output. Its four displayed cases test artifact identity, explicit indeterminacy, verification-tier inflation, and revoked transitive ancestors. Two runs generated identical 37,393-byte outputs, although the page limits that observation to one interpreter and operating system rather than treating it as cross-platform proof.
