workdaddy.dev Observed source

Editorial interest 82/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

An open-source macOS and Windows companion that adds account switching, themes, session tools, and user-defined automation to WorkBuddy.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-11 issue.

Field notes

WorkDaddy operates as a local companion panel for WorkBuddy or WorkBuddy AI rather than as a replacement client. Its documented controls cover account import and export, prompt and phrase libraries, message indexing, selected-text quoting, interrupted-session continuation, and configurable interface tasks. The homepage gives a concrete automation example—checking for a loaded page and closing its popup—and lists separate macOS and Windows installation paths under an AGPL-3.0 open-source model.
