Bloked: a keyword filter for the whole web
A Chromium browser extension that hides or blurs YouTube videos, news headlines, and other web content containing keywords you choose.
Field notes
Bloked accepts keywords or phrases in a browser-toolbar popup and applies them across YouTube cards, news pages, and other headings or links. Matching is case-insensitive and partial, so “elect” also catches “election” and “electoral.” The page describes a debounced mutation observer for feeds that load continuously, along with hide, blur, per-site disable, and master pause controls. Version 1.0.0 is distributed as a Manifest V3 extension, with a SHA-256 checksum supplied for the manual ZIP installation.
