The extension uses AWS profiles and SSO sessions already present in the local CLI rather than asking users to enter keys into a separate service. Its sidebar is organized around DynamoDB’s own structures—tables, key schemas, global and local secondary indexes, and items—while a local endpoint can be used for DynamoDB Local. Pro adds PartiQL, CSV or JSON export, saved queries, and simultaneous profile or region views.
