The calculator accepts artwork width and height, unit selection, minimum mat border, and per-edge overlap before returning nominal frame matches. Its reference material explicitly separates an artwork or insert label from a frame’s outer dimensions, and illustrates an 11 × 14 inch board with a 7¾ × 9¾ inch mat window. The site also covers A0–A6 paper sizes, aspect ratios, print pixels, and gallery-wall layouts based on actual outside size.
