hook2local: Webhooks Routed Back to Localhost
A CLI utility that receives webhooks at a public URL and forwards them to a local development server.
Field notes
The service uses an npx CLI listener to create a public endpoint and forward incoming requests to a localhost URL, avoiding the need to expose a development machine directly. Its default mode keeps events in CLI memory during the session and shows only forwarding metadata on the dashboard. The page states that temporary endpoints last one hour, support up to 50 events per session, and accept request bodies up to 1 MiB; account holders can optionally retain payloads for 24-hour replay.
