Invisible Bièvre Maps a River Paris Forgot
An interactive history-and-ecology project follows the vanished Bièvre river from Cachan into Paris.
Field notes
Invisible Bièvre uses a walking route between Cachan and Paris to connect a disappeared river with Roman infrastructure, former bridges, gardens, street art, and local museums. Its proposed interaction is proximity-based: the web app is intended to make the river and its stories grow stronger as visitors approach hidden traces. The project credits AR/VR developers, writing, 3D modeling, and art direction, and says its first story will launch at the Arcueil-Cachan Roman Aqueduct.
