KATEL_design: Two Small Apps with a Point of View
An independent Japanese studio presenting Receiptimer, which turns focused work into receipts, and Ajiato, a memory aid for favorite restaurants.
Field notes
Receiptimer applies the familiar Pomodoro pattern to a physical-world metaphor: each completed session becomes a receipt with itemized effort. Ajiato takes a different route, combining photos and ratings with location-based reminders for saved restaurants. The studio describes its approach as removing unnecessary features, avoiding manuals, and caring about unseen implementation details; its homepage links directly to both browser versions and Android distribution.
