PlateLedger turns restaurant orders into ingredient inventory
A restaurant stock tool that converts POS sales into recipe-level ingredient depletion, forecasts what will run out, and drafts the next order.
Field notes
PlateLedger translates completed POS orders into ingredient-level stock movements by multiplying each sold item through a recipe, including modifiers, size multipliers, unit conversions, and one level of nested recipes. Its example applies 5% trim waste to chicken and shows a large serving as 1.5 times the base recipe. Forecast alerts use a 14-day sales average, current stock, and supplier lead time, with immediate warnings for items expected to run out within that lead time.
