Stadanta: From Sketch to Stage
A Spanish-language field guide to building theatrical scenery, from scale model and workshop drawings to stage assembly, transport, and storage.
Field notes
The project organizes scenic construction as a sequence of workshop decisions rather than treating theatre design as a purely visual discipline. Its notes distinguish between a 1:25 model and the measured drawings needed for fabrication, then track materials, joints, finishes, hardware, safety, and touring logistics. Practical examples include 45×70 or 45×95 mm pine sections, 30×30 or 40×40 mm steel tube, and checks for doors, lifts, trucks, suspension points, and stage load limits.
