The Unmapped City, a city looking for somewhere to exist
A speculative temporary city built around hidden art, participatory theater, strange machines, and adventures that cannot be scheduled.
Field notes
The proposed city is organized around partial knowledge: visitors would receive a thread in the form of an object, rumor, instruction, or debt, while art and theater remain scattered, mobile, hidden, or briefly available. Its eight laws reject a main stage and complete map, and the site frames missing parts of the experience as intentional rather than accidental. The accompanying 68-second survey film is explicitly labeled generated and presents no built location, making the page a document of design before construction.
