Virtual Music Festival Turns Spotify Into a Browser Stage
An open-source local visualizer that analyzes Spotify playback and renders a synchronized EDM festival rig in the browser.
Field notes
The project analyzes the audio playing from Spotify and converts tempo, phase, builds and drops into a browser-rendered concert rig. Its described library includes more than 180 artist profiles across 21 EDM genres, with 21 stage designs, 27 LED-wall programs and five colour modes seeded per track. A machine on the local network runs the show while other viewers open the same address. The project links to a GitHub repository and identifies itself as MIT licensed.
