An interactive C. elegans simulation that uses a published 302-neuron connectome to turn sensory cues into movement, scrolling, and carefully vetoed clicks.
Field notes
The simulation treats each neuron as a point leaky integrate-and-fire unit and uses the published whole-animal connectome rather than a stylized network. Its input pipeline compresses a page into a 24×24 luminance grid, then assigns brightness, contrast, aversion, and edge contact to named sensory neurons including AFD, BAG, URX, AWA, AWC, ASH, FLP, and OLQ. The page currently uses simulated allowlisted pages; deployment to a real headless browser is marked unfinished.
