The project separates three common sources of working-time data: household recall, employer payroll records, and time-use diaries. Its library currently lists three articles, including one on unpaid hours and the long-hours tail and another arguing that many hourly-pay figures are calculated divisions rather than direct observations. Hourwise says its editorial rules require identifiable sources and place methodological criticism alongside the finding under discussion.
