PatternPro Counts the Holes in a Shotgun Pattern
An Android app turns a photograph of a paper shotgun target into pellet counts, point-of-impact measurements, spread, and pattern analysis.
Field notes
PatternPro uses a phone photograph of a paper target as the starting point, then combines automatic pellet marking with manual correction so the shooter signs off on the final count. Its measurements include the percentage inside a 30-inch circle, point of impact, spread, pattern shape, and quadrant balance. Sessions retain gun, choke, shot size, payload, and distance, enabling comparisons across loads and a view of pattern percentage over the last ten sessions. The site identifies Android version 1.3.0 and describes offline operation where supported.
