OpenPredicate, a shared grammar for search filters
An MIT-licensed JSON Schema that gives search APIs and agent tools a common, SQL-flavoured language for filtering records.
Field notes
The project encodes search filters as JSON under a JSON Schema draft 2020-12 grammar, allowing the same definition to be referenced from OpenAPI 3.1 or used as an MCP inputSchema. Its scope is deliberately limited to predicates, leaving projection, ordering, and pagination to individual APIs. The homepage documents implicit AND, scalar equality shorthand, and SQL-like UNKNOWN results for null or absent fields, with $unknownAs available when that behavior must be overridden.
