Operative Note Turns Surgical Paperwork Into a Case-by-Case Money Trail
A private-beta iPhone app lets out-of-network surgeons photograph operative notes, review proposed CPT codes, send billing packages, and track each claim through payment.
Field notes
The workflow begins with a phone photograph of every operative-note page and produces proposed CPT codes with quoted support from the source document. Surgeons can approve, replace, or remove those codes before sending the note, insurance card, and coding package to their billing company. The service also assigns each case a status trail covering receipt, insurer offers, negotiation or arbitration, and payment, while routing routine billing correspondence to the appropriate case.
