Project PINTO, the Threads of Fate remake with room for two
An independent fan project rebuilding the PlayStation adventure Threads of Fate in modern C#, with two-player network co-op in development.
Field notes
Project PINTO rebuilds Threads of Fate’s engine in modern C# and uses assets from a player’s own game disc dump. The site reports a playable slice covering opening stories, town conversations, and early forest encounters, alongside modern input and menu systems. Network co-op is being developed with shared story progression, while mod support and split-area co-op are explicitly future plans. Its five multiplayer difficulty settings culminate in Hell Mode, which enables friendly fire.
