Field notes
The prototype uses a questionnaire as an entry point, then moves from policy similarity to candidate context rather than treating the match as a recommendation. Its comparison flow emphasizes both shared answers and especially divergent themes, while issue pages provide alternate routes through subjects such as public transportation, education, and healthcare. Candidate pages can also be opened directly without taking the diagnostic, and saved candidates remain available in the browser.
