Field notes
The forecast pipeline combines a 75-day archive with estimated water temperature, turnover inference, weather, moon phases, solunar periods, and planetary hours before applying fixed arithmetic to rank each window. The visible ledger assigns tiers from S through C and pairs individual time ranges with a location and rig, including several Hidden Valley Lake windows recommending a drop shot. The registry currently names multiple California lakes and reservoirs, while the site says new waters can be characterized from OSM and Wikidata data.
