Machina Index puts a number on used industrial machinery

The index combines auction results and asking prices, keeps model, year, date, location, and channel, and publishes a median with range and confidence grade. Its visible dataset contains 2,753 recorded prices, 1,682 of them identified as real auction results, covering 418 models in 41 countries. Coverage is uneven by design: compressed-air equipment contributes 49% of recorded prices, while other machine families have thinner evidence.
