HistoriEarth’s historical map-journey kit
HistoriEarth presents a 3D globe for exploring history and a v4 package kit for creating local map journeys.
- For
- History educators and map-journey authors
- Worth noticing
- The authoring kit embeds its v4 JSON Schema and a valid minimal example, so authors need not fetch separate format files.
Field notes
The homepage embeds the complete v4 authoring instructions, schema, and minimal example, with parallel files at llms.txt, Markdown, JSON Schema, and example JSON routes. Its workflow asks authors to choose a chapter structure, research historical sources, retain the exact schema and example, and validate the package; it says a self-written validator does not count as HistoriEarth validation. Media coverage is described as conditional on available tools rather than a package-wide requirement.
