A browser-based sound mixer combines recordings of nature in Mexico with soft noise for sleep, focus, or relaxation.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-30 issue.

For: People seeking background sound for sleep or focus
Worth noticing: Several recordings identify the recordist, date, and place; the jungle-rain track is marked public domain (CC0).

Field notes

The recording list ties sounds to specific places, including Punta Allen near Tulum and Puerto Escondido in Oaxaca. Some entries name recordists and dates, while the jungle-rain recording is labeled CC0; the page says it names recordists whenever known. The steady noise is generated in the browser, rather than taken from a recording. Preset durations include 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and all night.
