New Bern Insider puts a local guide on the phone

Field notes

The navigation separates places, dining, events, and bears, while a map link is presented with counts for bears, weekend items, and places to eat. A phone link connects visitors to Tamesha, whom the page explicitly identifies as an AI operator rather than a person. The page also discloses that calls are recorded and transcribed; the extracted text does not reveal the map or listings themselves.
