An in-development app describes using one camera to track fencing lunges, replay them frame by frame, and chart a fencer’s progress.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-30 issue.

For: Fencing coaches and fencers
Worth noticing: Camera calibration asks the fencer to stand still for about 30 seconds.

Field notes

The page describes a calibration step: level the camera, stand side-on, then remain still for roughly 30 seconds while the system measures the fencer. It says each lunge is detected automatically and linked to frame-by-frame replay, with session histories kept per fencer. The current version is described as running offline on a Windows laptop with a Kinect; webcam support is a stated plan, and the page labels the product in development.
